What I want more than anything else is to see Duluth thrive.
In order to do that, we need to grow. That means embracing change, forging compromises, and bringing forth new ideas. I have already begun working towards these ideals during my tenure on the Pubic Utilities commission and the City Planning commission.
I see many of the college students that come to Duluth for the wonderful universities in our district, only to move to other metropolitan areas upon graduation. I want those graduates to have more opportunities to stay in town, further our community, get great jobs, build families, and ultimately set down roots.
Building our community leads to more people paying taxes that help to pave our bumpy roads, replace old sewage mains so they don’t burst and leak into our neighborhood streams, pay for emergency/social services, and collectively lighten everyone’s tax burden.
I believe I can bring fresh perspectives and speak up for what our community needs. This is why I would be honored to be your District 2 City Councilor.
Less Talk More Torque
Economic Growth
Foster stronger communication between the public and private sectors to encourage smart development. Attract investment that grows our tax base, funds city services, and keeps Duluth vibrant without raising taxes.
Real Communication
Cut through the noise. I believe in open, transparent dialogue even when it’s uncomfortable. No empty promises, no deflecting responsibility. Just honest conversations and a willingness to compromise when needed.
Keep the Focus Local
My priority is Duluth not D.C. Let’s get the unhoused into safe shelter, invest in emergency services and infrastructure, and keep our parks clean and accessible. I want to do the real, often boring, important work of city government not chase headlines.
